How to Start Your Day Right // Positivity Part IV

Hello lovelies!  This is part 4 of my blog’s positivity series!  See part 1, part 2, and part 3.  This is the outline of a great day for me.  Depending on my mood, I usually finish all this between 11-1.

Wake up early, you’ll get so much done!  I accidentally woke up at 5:15 one morning and it was one of the most productive hours of my life AND I got to watch the sun rise!  I would recommend 6 or 7 depending on when you usually wake up.  It’s difficult but it’s worth it to have an extra few hours in your morning!
Wake up: 7:00 am

Stretch.  The more you stretch, the better your joints, flexibility, and balance will be.  You can even stretch in bed if you don’t want to get out of bed just yet.  Sit up, touch your toes, reach your arms up to the ceiling, any sort of stretch will get you ready to start your day.  It gets your blood moving and gets you out of that half asleep daze.
Stretch: 7:00 – 7:10 am

Make your bed.  Why?  If you make your bed, you have already accomplished something, your room looks cleaner leading to a clearer mind, and you’ve gotten out of bed.  Everyone hates making their bed but it’s really not that hard.  It takes 30 seconds, a minute at most to make your room look 5x neater.
Make your bed: 7:10 – 7:15 am

Drink a cup of tea.  Preferably green for the health benefits but I drink chai with cream for the caffeine and the taste.  Tea has so many benefits helping your organs, your skin (we all want that), and so much more.  It’s way healthier than coffee and some tea varieties have the same amount of caffeine as coffee!  A cup of tea every day will improve so many things!
Have some tea: 7:15 – 7:20

Go for a run, walk, bike ride, or do a YouTube workout.  Getting moving early in the morning will get you pumped for a good day that’s really productive.  Getting outside is ideal but YouTube workouts are great for rainy days.  After, I usually have a quick shower to rinse off and wash my face.
Exercise: 7:20 – 8:45 am

Do a daunting task.  Do the hardest task as soon as possible so you have it out of your mind for the rest of the day.  It takes so much stress off your mind!
Do some work: 8:45 – 10:15 am

Eat a healthy breakfast.  Include fruits, veggies, grains, protein and dairy.  It’s okay if not all 5 are included in your breakfast but try to get at least one serving of either fruits or vegetables in the morning, depending on if you’re more a sweet or savory breakfast person.
Eat breakfast: 10:15 – 11:00 am

Do something that works your brain.  Like crosswords or Sudoku?  Read the newspaper?  Do something that you enjoy and uses your mind to keep your brain sharp!  I love crosswords and reading blogs so I usually do those while I’m eating my breakfast to multitask.
Do something brainy: 11:00 – 11:15 am

In that order!  This is how I start my most productive days!  Sometimes I leave one or two things out but this is the framework for a good day for me!

What are your favorite breakfasts? Let me know!

      1. Yeah bacon is nice to have as a treat once in a while. I think I am going to make it for breakfast tomorrow. Today I just had some cereal and yogurt lol. xoxo
